From the supplier: Two real life teachers provided the inspiration for the character called Ms. Frizzle in the book 'The Magic School Bus.' One of these educators was named Ms. Bair, who was a junior high school science teacher who infected her students with her enthusiasm for science. The other real life teacher was a 10th grade teacher named Ms. Isaacs, whose love for her subject made at least one of her students love it such that he honored her when he became an illustrator.
