published Ikwerre poet,
despite being a
college principal, lecturer, university administrator, company manager, newspaper publisher, mayor of Port Harcourt, president of a rotary club and a traditional ruler. The contributors to the collection are from the Americas Australia, Jamaica, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, and the UK. The themes encompass folklore, memory, love for the earth, man and nature, and the significance of remembering the dead and acknowledging why they will always be a part of the living.
