Cigars of the Pharoah (The Adventures of Tintin)
Cigars of the Pharaoh is one of Tintin's earliest adventures. He and Snowy are on a cruise to Egypt when they happen to meet Professor Sophocles Sarcophagus (the first of Tintin's absent-minded professors) and join his expedition But they become embroiled in a complicated scheme involving a fakir, cigars marked with an unusual brand, and Rajijah, the poison of madness. Most significantly, Tintin meets the detectives Thompson and Thomson as well as the movie mogul Rastapopolous. While Cigars of the Pharaoh is a self-contained story, some of the mysteries are resolved in The Blue Lotus. Herge wrote Cigars in 1932 then revised it in 1955, which is why the art has the more polished look of later stories as well as the anachronistic glimpse of a copy of Destination: Moon. --David Horiuchi.

Jesus: Last of the Pharoahs
There is good evidence in the Bible, Torah and Koran indicating that Jesus and his followers were not poor shepherds, carpenters and fishermen, but the Hyksos Shepherd pharaohs. The Biblical Exodus then makes historical sense, as the Hyksos Exodus from Egypt -- an actual historical event when half a million people evacuated Egypt after a civil war with the Thebans -- can be understood as the Exodus of the Old Testament. Further, Jesus can then be understood as a descendant of these pharoahs. Having found the Biblical Saul in the historical record, the author found new historical references to the Biblical Jesus, and has determined that he was descended from this Hyksos line, and was a Hyksos prince in exile -- the rebel governor of Tiberias, who led an army Jerusalem. He died in AD 65 after the revolt failed - 30 years after the presumed crucifixion. Other revelations: The Biblical Abraham was a pharaoh of Egypt Jesus married his own sister, Mary Magdalene Jesus followed the traditional Egyptian astrology: he was born a shepherd (Aries) and died a fisher of men (Pisces).

Two Pharoahs: Hatshepsut and Tuthmose III
She was the daughter of a pharaoh, beautiful, feminine, intelligent and a talented woman and the favorite of her father the reigning pharaoh. She was also married to her younger brother, whom she loved, but only as younger sibling. He was the logical successor to their father, but he died of some mysterious disease leaving his sister/wife to continue his rule. So when it came time for her to ascend the pharaoh's throne she assumed the guise of a male including a false beard, that to satisfy a population whom she felt were suspicious of her and she assumed they wanted a male pharaoh. Before her brother/husband passed away he consorted with a 'harem wife' who in turn had a son, and an heir, who should logically have the necessary qualifications to be a pharaoh. She, also, had a lover, a great Egyptian architect and builder, who built many monuments and mortuary temples, many of which stand today, thirty-five hundred years later. But what of the female pharaoh, who preceeded Cleopatra by over fifteen hundred years, and her ambitious step-son, and thus the intrigue begins..
