translated by the poet Anselm Hollo. Set in
Chicago in a
climate of rampant capitalism, it is the story of a savage battle waged between two men, whose relationship is at once homosexual and sadomasochistic and whose tightly choreographed hostility is a metaphor for their cultural surround.
