What People Are Saying:
In my long business acquaintance with Ms. Frieda Levinsky, my client, I have learned and found the author to be an astute business woman. But, recently I have been learning of her talent as a seasoned poet who has been studying informally the worlds greatest poets along with poetry of the Hebrew prophets and has been writing poetry for more than three decades. Besides having published her poetry in literary journals her second edition poetry book is the volume that I have read as has my office manager, Tammy Coleman. I have also become aware that her book was showcased at the Local Author's Exhibit at the Down Town San Diego Public Library for the month of February.
Also, not suprising, Mr. Patrick Parks, a local business leader has lauded Ms. Levinsky poetry by stating that her poetry lines are keen reflections that modern man needs in this fast moving world where people race without actually knowing what their haste and running means and that we need to question if anything of actual significance results as part of the racing.
Additionally, Samuel Adler, the noted composer and Juliard faculty member acknowledged that Ms. Levinsky's poetry is worthy of more than a singular reading. But rather that the reader benefits from several readings to see the sense and sound of the lines which echo the music we may hear in nature on our walks in such places as parks and gardens close by near our residences and at distances from them.
