Still Going . . Blissfully Lost in the Baja : Wandering South of the Border with Barb Thacker and Her Dog, Ink
Not ready to give up this wonderful adventure, Thacker headed West. To escape the bitter cold gripping the US, she headed sown the Baja Pninsula, thinking she'd explore for a month and get warm. She stayed for almost 15 months, for she found a land and a people who appealed to her strongly. In spite of a language barrier at first, Barb grew to love her Mexican neighbors in Barrio San Ignacio, Todos Santos, where she lived in a palap. She shares some of the joys and grustrations of life in a different culture. It taught her that we are. indeed, all family..
