God is No-Thing - Fresh Ways of Looking at Theological Questions
In this collection of favourite sermons delivered in Horsham and Berkeley, Unitarian minister Dr. Richard F. Boeke takes us on a journey in search of universal truths and the "good life." For Boeke, this journey is no mere mental theological meandering. It is his life's work, and it has led him to travel the world, forging enduring friendships based not in mutual faith, but in mutual trust and a willingness to remain open to the possibility of creating peace on this earth. In his sermons, Boeke invites us to partake of the holy mysteries of fair trade bananas, lunches with fellow spiritual quester Karen Armstrong, purifies himself under a pounding waterfall with a Shinto priest, (though in a pinch, he makes do with bathroom shower!), bemoans fundamentalists of any religion ("The Church of Some Souls"), wonders, since the body is the temple of the spirit, if ministers shouldn't have to pass regular physicals, and draws on the teachings of the great sage, Kermit the Frog. Finally, he answers our questions about God! If, as Boeke says, "To be religious is to respond to fresh challenges to your soul," you may just "get religion" in these pages..

From the supplier: Pickenpack Tiefkuhlgesellschaft Managing Dir Jan Pickenpack reports that a shortage of North Atlantic and South Seas fish species is driving up demand and prices of Alaskan pollock. Poor harvests in the Baltic Sea, Chile and Peru and the El Nino phenomenon are attributed to the short supply of North Atlantic cod, saithe and perch. This situation augurs well for Pickenpack since one of the firm's more popular new product is pollock-based. Export Dir Henrik Moeller says that the pollock fillets that they introduced at Anuga have been widely received by the public.
