Grand-Mom Told Me is a series of enjoyable short stories about a grandmother and her grandson who visits her. They discuss old expressions, jobs, and what life was like “back then.” Their conversations get funny when Jeremy (Little Sprout, Whipper Snapper) gets confused and Grand-Mom Jenny tries to explain. In this SECOND book, Whipper Snapper joins Grand-Mom at the beach. He learns more expressions, words, and even history when he asks Grand-Mom about Columbus. They have great fun as they build castles in the sand, make drawbridges and moats, fly kites, fish and just enjoy their life together!.
