From the supplier: Texas will renounce its National Assn of Insurance Commissioners' (NAIC) accreditation if the NAIC does not provide the Texas Dept of Insurance with a full disclosure of its financial position. The financial disclosure by the NAIC is mandated by the Texas Material Transaction Disclosure Act, which goes into effect on Jan 1, 1996. The state law demands the disclosure of salary information on NAIC staff. The NAIC is anxious to cooperate with the state of a Texas in a fashion that is satisfactory to both parties.
