From the supplier: Conservative philosopher Russell Kirk continues to assert that conservatives are primarily concerned with the establishment of sound moral and spiritual principles. Kirk argues that all other achievements and opportunities stem from a strong spiritual foundation. Conservative critics of Kirk accuse him of dismissing practical and economic matters too lightly. However, they agree that the essence of Kirk's message is true. Economic opportunity and political achievement can only follow a rejuvenation of the religious, moral and ethical spirit.
