From the supplier: Civil liberties groups and fathers' rights groups are following appeals of rulings by two judges in Illinois who have use contempt orders to attempt to compel children to visit their fathers. In both instances, the children are resistant to accepting the terms of custody and visitation orders imposed following divorce. The attorney for one father argues that the contempt order is intended to demonstrate to the children the consequences of their actions. Groups opposed to the judges' actions question the use of incarceration to resolve familial disputes.
