Dr. Adelizzi's vivid writing style provides a framework on which we can form our own understanding of how people cope and adapt, how traumatic events affect learning and functioning. Dr. Adelizzi is director of the masters of education program at Curry College, Milton, Mass., and has a private practive as a certified educational therapist, focusing on the impact of psychological trauma on learning, especially for those with learning disabilities..
