Shame Off You: Overthrowing the Tyrant Within
Hope for the Restless, Hurting Heart“Shame on you.” We’ve all heard those words and felt the sting in our souls. We might try hard to earn love and acceptance for a while, but eventually we find ourselves exhausted, anxious, despaired Shame can motivate us to try harder but it never sets us free. It is, in short, a lie that steals real peace and hides true joy. Now Alan D. Wright shares in a refreshing new way how to let the grace and power of Jesus Christ transform you and unlock the key to an entirely new way of living and loving. While he experienced this liberation for himself, as a pastor he has also guided countless others to the same place of freedom. Here’s how to give up your tireless quest for the approval of others, find rest in God’s love, and turn the exhortation upside down: where the shame comes off you…for good! They Say Success Is Sweet… Too Bad You Don’t Enjoy It. You could be relishing your accomplishments. Instead, are you plagued with: Feeling like the pressure’s always on? Wishing it didn’t matter so much what others think of you? The same reoccurring sins or addictions? Regret for criticizing those you love? Then it’s time to overthrow the tyrant within. It’s a lie called shame that whispers, You’re not good enough. With a brilliant combination of humor, biblical wisdom, and practical guidance, pastor Alan Wright invites you to get grounded in God’s grace. It’s the only Truth powerful enough to banish the lie. And it’s the only way you can receive the life you struggle so hard for, but never attain. A place of contentment and love is waiting for you—if you dare accept the gift. Don’t wait. Get the shame off you—for good! Story Behind the Book“When I was in the fourth grade, we had a ‘family meeting’ at which my dad announced that he wouldn’t be living at home anymore. Thus ended my happy world. I launched into a life of superlative success. But my secret master motivation was not joy, but fear. Some years ago I began a ruthless self inventory that uncovered the various manifestations of shame in my life. I found that it was not as powerful as I once thought and that I could change by the healing grace of Jesus Christ. Over the years, I developed a passion for telling people how they could release their shame to Christ and be healed by His love and grace.” — Alan D. Wright.

Delusional Democracy: Fixing the Republic Without Overthrowing the Government
"Our constitutional republic is on life support, ravaged by the viruses of avarice and Social Darwinism Read this amazing book to learn how you can become a part of America's cure."-Jason S. Miller, writer for the blog Thomas Paine's Corner
"A masterful and comprehensive analysis of the most salient issues of our time: the intersection of democracy, morality, citizenship and the quality of everyday life. Anyone who is troubled by the claim that something has gone terribly wrong owes it to himself or herself to spend a few hours with this book."-Jerry Fresia, author of Toward an American Revolution
"It matters not one iota which political party is in power, or what President holds the reins of office. We are not politicians or public thinkers; we are the rich, we own America; we got it God knows how; but we intend to keep it if we can."-Frederick T. Martin, The Robber Barons, 1934
With false information, fake patriots uphold America's pseudo-democracy that no longer works for the good of its citizens. Taxation with rampant misrepresentation requires a second American Revolution to restore America's democracy.
Delusional Democracy connects far-ranging dots for a compelling account of America's steady decline and presents specific actions that can reverse it.
Written for conservatives, libertarians, liberals, moderates, independents, greens, and progressives, as well as dissatisfied Democrats and Republicans, Delusional Democracy will convince readers that we the people have the power to begin American democracy over again.

Overthrowing Geography: Jaffa, Tel Aviv, and the Struggle for Palestine, 1880-1948
This landmark book offers a truly integrated perspective for understanding the formation of Jewish and Palestinian Arab identities and relations in Palestine before 1948. Beginning with the late Ottoman period Mark LeVine explores the evolving history and geography of two cities: Jaffa, one of the oldest ports in the world, and Tel Aviv, which was born alongside Jaffa and by 1948 had annexed it as well as its surrounding Arab villages. Drawing from a wealth of untapped primary sources, including Ottoman records, Jaffa Shari'a court documents, town planning records, oral histories, and numerous Zionist and European archival sources, LeVine challenges nationalist historiographies of Jaffa and Tel Aviv, revealing the manifold interactions of the Jewish and Palestinian Arab communities that lived there. At the center of the book is a discussion of how Tel Aviv's self-definition as the epitome of modernity affected its and Jaffa's development and Jaffa's own modern pretenses as well. As he unravels this dynamic, LeVine provides new insights into how popular cultures and public spheres evolved in this intersection of colonial, modern, and urban space. He concludes with a provocative discussion of how these discourses affected the development of today's unified city of Tel Aviv-Yafo and, through it, Israeli and Palestinian identities within in and outside historical Palestine..
