From the supplier: Barnett Banks of Jacksonville NA, which is based in Florida, asked the Supreme Court to overturn a ruling made by the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals, which upheld Florida's right to disallow insurance sales by bank agencies. A similar petition may also be submitted by a coalition of insurance agents to appeal a 6th US Circuit Court of Appeals decision that disallows the Kentucky insurance department from prohibiting bank-owed agencies from selling insurance.
