IBM announced findings which indicate that the Pentium chip can miscalculate spreadsheet formulas. Aetna Life and Casualty Co has stopped using its 100 Pentium-based microcomputers. The Pentium chip could miscalculate insurance calculations such as ratings, financial reports or actuarial formulas.
