From the supplier: The US Judicial Conference determined that limits on federal civil and criminal jurisdiction were necessary to prevent a forecasted 1 million cases to be filed in 2020. The report listed various reform suggestions including that diversity jurisdiction would be limited, personal injury cases would no longer be federal and administrative review should be increased. However, the ATLA's interpretation of the forecast conflicted with the report because the Council did not distinguish between suit types and suggested changes such as fee shifting that should only be imposed by Congress.
