This publication presents the results of a 2005 biological expedition led by the Center for Applied Biodiversity Science to the Boké Préfecture of Guinea, located along the northwest coast of the country and known to harbor up to 500,000 bird species. The survey found two animal species new to science, and records the presence of sixteen species with special conservation needs.
