Utterly Wicked: Curses, Hexes & Other Unsavory Notions
Hexes, curses and other unsavory notions. Most magical practitioners won't even discuss them. Why? Because they'd much rather find a positive solution that benefits all concerned. And, there's nothing wrong with that. Occasionally, though, our problems are such that nothing in the positive solution arena will handle them. It's time to make a decision to stand tough, be strong, and take definitive action to defend ourselves. And, if you're ready to do that-if you're ready to own that action and take responsibility for it-then Utterly Wicked is the book for you! Jam-packed with more than one hundred rituals, incantations, hexes and curses, this book is the quintessential primer for learning all those magical tricks that no one wants to talk about. Do you know the proper way to enter a cemetery? Utterly Wicked tells you how, as well as the proper methods for collecting and using graveyard dirt. Explore the little known secrets of the 11" fashion doll and see why it's become such a valuable magical tool. Then learn to prepare Hot Foot Powder, Four Thieves Vinegar, Goofer Dust, and other magical components specifically designed to obliterate your toughest problems. Most important, though, you'll also find the tools to protect yourself, your family, and your home from ever being bothered with these sorts of difficulties again. A must have for any Witch's bookshelf!.

The Mother and Other Unsavory Plays: Including The Shoemakers and They (Mother & Other Unsavory Plays)
Edited and translated by Daniel Gerould and C.S. Durer, foreword by Jan Kott. Painter, playwrights, novelist, aesthetician, philosopher, and expert on drugs, Stanislaw Ignacy Witkiewicz - or Witkacy, as he called himself - remains Poland's outstanding figure in the arts between the two world wars. This volume brings together three of Witkiewicz's best works for the stage as well as a selection from his critical writing. The plays deal with the author's principal themes and obsessions: the dilemma of the artist in the twentieth century; the revolutions in science and politics; and the bankruptcy of all ideology, the decline of western civilization, and the coming of totalitarianism. Yet, far from being solemn or even serious in tone, these apocalyptic dramas are permeated with grotesque humor and characterized by a wild theatricality that particularly appeals to contemporary sensibility..

From the supplier: Increasingly, courts are rejecting overzealous deposition tactics and applying the Hall standards of conduct which are intended to return the deposition process into a forum for discovering facts. Counsel can help to eliminate negative practices of opposing parties by enforcing FRCP 30(c) which provides that depositions should mirror trial examinations. There are many valid objections that may and should be made and which may result in sanctions. Although not subject to oversight, pre-deposition witness preparation should include discussion of proper conduct and ethics.

From the supplier: The American United for Separation of Church and State (AU) has received a subpoena from the Senate Committee on Government Affairs concerning the investigation of some illegal donations made by foreign governments during the 1996 elections. Members of the AU alleged that there was no clear basis regarding the issuance of subpoena because no evidence was presented to establish the fact that AU has indeed violated federal campaign law. It was merely a fishing scheme intended to harass and intimidate American United from its pursuit of defending the separation of church and state.
