Name Withheld: A J.P. Beaumont Mystery
An explosive novel of betrayal and blood vengeance from the New York Times bestselling author of Long Time Gone.
There are those who don't deserve to live -- and the corpse floating in Elliot Bay may have been one of those people. Not surprisingly, many individuals -- too many, in fact -- are eager to take responsibility for the brutal slaying of the hated biotech executive whose alleged crimes ranged from the illegal trading of industrial secrets to rape. For Seattle Detective J.P. Beaumont -- who's drowning in his own life-shattering problems -- a case of seemingly justifiable homicide has sinister undertones, drawing the haunted policeman into a corporate nightmare of double deals, savage jealousies, and real blood spilled far too easily, as it leads him closer to a killer he's not sure he wants to find. .

A Good Conviction
Wrongful prosecution of a young man for a murder he did not commit is at the core of A Good Conviction Mr. Weinstein has fashioned a tense, emotional, fast-paced story, told largely from the perspective of Joshua Blake, sent to Sing Sing for life by a prosecutor who may have known he was innocent. Josh struggles to survive in an environment completely alien to anything he has ever known or even imagined. He befriends some inmates, and has brutal exchanges with others, as he is inescapably corrupted by prison life. All the while he tries to understand how this could have happened to him, and what he can now do to restore his once promising future. Josh is aided in his quest by his cellmate Spider, by the NYPD detective who arrested him, by two defense attorneys and a New York Daily News reporter who are infuriated by the miscarriage of justice perpetrated against him, and by Darlene, a hooker he met on his first day in New York. He is forcefully opposed by Manhattan ADA Roger Claiborne, and by an uncaring criminal justice system that is loathe to admit a mistake. A Good Conviction is set in Manhattan, Rikers Island and Sing Sing. Many readers have nostalgically relived their New York experiences in Mr. Weinstein's descriptions of familiar neighborhoods, even as they suffer along with the horrors of Josh's prison life. Some of the action takes place during the New York City Marathon..

Name & Address Withheld (Red Dress Ink (Numbered Paperback))
When the other woman is you... She’s not quite sure how it happened, but Lizzie Ford is London’s most popular Agony Aunt — doling out practical, down-to-earth advice to women about everything from g-spots and oral sex to relationships and personal crises. So she finds it somewhat ironic that an honest-to-goodness D-celebrity like herself — she has a radio show and a magazine column — who counsels others on their sex lives has been sitting on the bench for three years waiting to get back in the game. So Lizzie can’t believe her good luck when she meets Matt Baker at her office Christmas party. They hit it off immediately, only there’s one problem — Matt’s wife may not be happy with this new arrangement. Lizzie is certainly less than enthused when Matt finally informs her of his marital state — "You’ve got a wife and I’ve got principles," she tells him. But principles don’t take you out to dinner or keep you warm in bed at night, and Lizzie soon takes up with Matt again when he tells her that he’s about to leave his wife —who is more concerned with her career than their marriage. The strange thing is that even while she’s hoping that Matt will get a divorce, she’s actively helping a writer to her column save her crumbling marriage — a marriage that bears more than a passing resemblance to Matt’s. Can you be a home saver and a home wrecker — saint and sinner — at the same time?.
